All our highlighted productions are filmed in full High Definition (10 bit 4:4:4 @ 1920x1080P) to produce pristine cinematic quality images. At LATIMUNDO, we capture this uncompressed media direct to disk with our in house Sony CineAlta F950 camera system (the camera used for Star Wars Episode 3). By capturing the full luminance RGB signal, we are able to composite photorealistic media faster without sacrificing quality.

LATIMUNDO has it’s own dedicated green screen stage on site with preconfigured lighting to generate the perfect keys in even the most rushed jobs. Included in our studio is a dedicated editing room with a client sitting area and a professional make-up room for the talent. All our supporting equipment such as lighting fixtures are also located on site to accommodate last minute changes.

The most important feature of a production is the sound of prefection. We capture all audio in an uncompressed digital format. The sound is professionally “cleaned” to obtain a crystal clear dialogue track for the shot. Then the sound designers add an entourage of audo elements to fill in a believable sound environment. Finally, a composer will add a music track to heighten the emotion.

Beyond shooting stellar footage, to be an epic film you will need cinematic visual effects. LATIMUNDO’s VFX abilities have ranged from virtual newsrooms to accurate citywide animations. Combined with our Sony CineAlta F950, our “greenscreen workflow” can place actors to normally impossible situations with ease. Even digital actors can be placed in real environments. If it can be imagined, we can visualize it!

The final piece of the puzzle is our massive processing power. LATIMUNDO is the parent company of RenderTITAN, one of the largest commercial render farms in the world. With about 500 modern CPUs, we have the ability to quickly render large scale, photorealistic 3D elements overnight. By share processing power, other studios simply cannot compete because our abilities are above their possibilities.
